At Aabbott Ferraro, we are so excited to announce we will be sponsoring Colden “Cole” Anderson in his BMX racing endeavors. The owner of our company, Nick Steckhahn, is Cole’s godfather. Since Cole began riding, Nick has been looking for a way to show his support beyond the hours at the track. This is how the idea of a sponsorship was born. The Aabbott Ferraro logo will be displayed on the back of a new riding jersey for Cole. We couldn’t think of anyone better to support and we are excited to see where this journey takes him. Good luck Cole!
Cole grew up loving BMX bikes. He has been enamored with them since he was two years old. He is thrilled to finally have the opportunity to learn to ride and race. Cole has been attending clinics, with kids his age, to learn more about the skill of riding and racing BMX bikes. In his most recent workshop, the kids in attendance worked on learning how to navigate the track faster and more efficiently.
Cole began riding BMX bikes at the Rehbein Indoor BMX track in Lino Lakes in April 2013. He competed in his first race on July 2 at Rum River BMX track in Isanti. He finished in third place, competing in the Novice Level with his peers. This is quite an achievement for someone who’s only been on the track for three months!
We couldn’t be more proud of him. He continues to race as many Tuesday nights as possible, as well as some Saturdays. We are looking forward to many more races in the future and more opportunities to support him.
Keep checking back for all the latest news on Cole and his racing!
