Fujitsu Mini Split heat pump running in -12F in St Paul, MN
We stopped by a customers house one morning when it was -12F below zero. I used a pipe clamp thermometer to see how much heat it can produce when it's that cold out. The video was shot in St Paul, MN January of 2012, we are having a mild winter so the Fujitsu air source heat pumps are really paying off! This is another good example of how mini split systems are more flexible than high velocity units.

Cutting a Duct into a 90 Year-Old Ceiling for a Fujitsu Ducted Unit
We installed a Fujitsu concealed heat pump system in a 90 year old home with original plaster ceilings. The walls and ceilings were already cracking so we had to take extra care when making our cuts for the ceiling duct registers. We used a Fein multi-tool with a carbide blade to cut the plaster and a wood cutting blade to cut the lath. This takes longer but gives you a lot cleaner cut than a recipicating saw because it will not make the lath bounce and crack the plaster.
